Our Setting
Good Hope is a 2,000-acre property; in the gorgeous Jamaican countryside. With hills and vales and a river running through it, with animals grazing and the sun shining on the green tropical landscape - you are called to slow down the pace and listen to the song of life.
From the historic seaport town of Falmouth, the villa is 5 miles into the island’s interior, bordering the magical Cockpit Country region. The Cockpit Country is the natural habitat for most of the island’s endemic flora and fauna. The landscape is dramatic with its green conical-shaped hills, valleys, caves, and rivers.
Good Hope is a place to remember the essential playful and resilient nature of the human spirit- to open the heart, to heal, restore, and ultimately, to celebrate.
Spaces to Play and Sleep
We will have exclusive use of Good Hope Estates for this Journey, and the grounds offer three beautiful areas with rooms, living spaces, pools, and community gathering areas for you and your fellow sojourners to connect.
The Coach House sits on a hill with breathtaking views of the magical Cockpit Country Mountains, the Queen of Spain Valley, and the meandering Martha Brae River. Beautiful in her elegance and relaxed in her cool energy, the Country House calms and enlivens with its open and spacious layout. The Garden Suites area is full of trees, tropical flowers, and bird life. Each area has a pool to cool off in and stunning nature views.
Nourishing and Fresh Meals
All meals are have animal protein and vegatarian protein options. You’ll have the opportunity to taste traditional Jamaican dishes as well as other specialties created by their experienced chefs. As part of this VITAL Journey, you’ll rediscover the joy of eating and nourishment for body and soul in every meal.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that you don’t book this journey with the intention of canceling it, but sometimes unexpected events happen in life. We recommend that you purchase your own travel insurance that includes trip cancellation insurance so that your trip fees will be covered should you have a medical problem prior to or while on the trip. It should also cover medical expenses in the event you have an accident while on the trip.
If you wish to cancel your journey, you must notify ONE Retreats in writing. Once we’ve received your notice, the cancellation will take effect subject to the following: If cancellation occurs more than 120 days before the trip start date, only the non-refundable deposit will be kept, and any additional payments made (minus processing fees) will be refunded. If cancellation occurs between 120 and 60 days before the trip start date, 50% of the retreat balance paid (minus processing fees) will be refunded. If cancellation takes place less than 60 days before the start date of the trip, there will be no refunds, no exceptions.
In making a deposit for this trip you will be freely agreeing to this Assumption of Risk and General Release Form. Please read and understand before making your deposit.

Good Hope Estates offers two types of accommodations. The Double/Shared Room option is suitable for those who don’t mind sharing a room, while the Single Room option provides private accommodations. Both room types are simply decorated, equipped with air conditioning, fans, and en suite bathrooms.

Yes, all meals during the VITAL Journey offer both animal protein and vegetarian protein options. The experienced chefs at Good Hope Estates ensure that participants have the opportunity to taste traditional Jamaican dishes along with other specialties, providing nourishment for both the body and soul.
