Why Older Adults Choose ONE Retreats

Older adults may come to a retreat with life experience, grief, family stories, health concerns or questions about meaning. Some are entering retirement. Some are living with loss. Others are looking back at the life they built and wondering what they still want to give, repair or understand.

A guided psilocybin setting may help some guests reflect on memory, legacy, relationships and life transitions with support. Preparation helps the team understand each guest’s background before travel. Integration gives guests time to process the experience after returning home.

Psilocybin is not appropriate for everyone, especially when medical conditions or medications are involved. Screening is a central part of the process.

This retreat may be right for older adults who want

  • A legal guided psilocybin retreat in Jamaica
  • A small group setting with private room options
  • Space for life review and personal reflection
  • Support around grief, retirement or family transitions
  • Preparation before traveling
  • Two guided psilocybin sessions
  • Daily support from the team on site
  • Medical support on property during ceremonies
  • Post-retreat integration after returning home

Older Adult Safety and Screening

Older adults should take extra care with medical screening. Preparation includes remote group and one-to-one facilitator sessions covering goals, health history, medications, mobility considerations and retreat expectations.

Guests are advised to speak with their own physician before attending. This is especially important for anyone with depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis history, suicidal thoughts, major medical conditions, heart concerns, substance use concerns or current medication use.

The retreat operates with legal psilocybin access in Jamaica. A doctor and nurse are on property during ceremonies. The process includes trained facilitation, emergency protocols, daily support and post-retreat integration.
