Psilocybin Retreats for Veterans and First Responders

Service can leave a person carrying memories, responsibility and pressure long after the shift, mission or deployment ends. This 6-day guided psilocybin retreat offers veterans and first responders a private setting in Negril for preparation, ceremony, rest and integration.

ONE Retreats Jamaica has partnered with SEAL Future Foundation to offer a legal, guided psilocybin retreat in Negril for veterans and first responders navigating service-related stress, trauma exposure, moral injury and the difficult shift from high-pressure roles back into daily life.

The Retreat Program

6-day Psilocybin Retreat Program for Couples

The process begins before travel with remote group and one-to-one preparation sessions. These sessions cover goals, health history, service background, current support and retreat expectations.

The 6-day Jamaica stay takes place in a private resort setting in Negril. Guests receive 2 guided psilocybin sessions, daily check-ins, 3 private-chef meals per day, airport transfers, private room options, air-conditioned accommodations, private bathrooms, fresh linens and 2 local excursions with transport.

The week may include breathwork, stretching, group meditation, light yoga, beach time, fireside ceremonies, nature walks and quiet time between sessions. After guests return home, the process continues with a remote group integration session.

1
Prepare
For veterans and first responders, this stage matters. It gives you a chance to speak about what you are carrying before ceremony. It also helps the team understand your current support system, medication considerations and what kind of setting may feel safest for you.
2
Retreat
The psilocybin may be provided as infused cacao chocolate, dried mushrooms or tea. Dosage and format are assessed during the pre-retreat process. The mushrooms come from Rose Hill Apothecary Ltd., the sister company of ONE Retreats.
3
Integrate
For veterans and first responders, integration can help connect the retreat experience to life after service, family roles, work, therapy, peer support or personal practices already in place.

Why Veterans and First Responders Come to ONE Retreats

Veterans and first responders may carry stress that is hard to explain to people outside their world. Some are dealing with moral injury, grief, trauma exposure, hypervigilance or the identity shift that comes after leaving a role built on duty.

A guided psilocybin retreat may help some guests step away from survival mode and reflect with support. The setting matters. Preparation, screening, ceremony support and integration help create a safer container for material that may feel heavy, complex or long buried.

This retreat is not a replacement for trauma therapy, psychiatric care, peer support or medical treatment. It is a guided retreat experience for adults who may be seeking personal reflection as part of a wider support plan.

This retreat may be right for veterans and first responders who want

  • A legal guided psilocybin retreat in Jamaica
  • A small group setting with daily support
  • Space away from service identity and routine pressure
  • Time to reflect on trauma, grief, guilt or major life changes
  • Preparation before traveling
  • Two guided psilocybin sessions
  • Medical screening and on-site ceremony support
  • Post-retreat integration after returning home

Safety and Medical Guidance

Screening is especially important for guests with trauma exposure, PTSD symptoms, depression, sleep issues, substance use concerns or current medication use. Preparation includes remote group and one-to-one facilitator sessions covering goals, health history and retreat expectations.

Guests are advised to speak with their own physician before attending. This is especially important for anyone with depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis history, suicidal thoughts, major medical conditions, heart concerns, substance use concerns or current medication use.

The retreat operates with legal access to psilocybin in Jamaica. A doctor and nurse are on property during ceremonies. The team uses trained facilitation, medical screening, emergency protocols, daily check-ins and integration support.
