Terms and Conditions

Last updated: May 11, 2023

Thank you for your booking with ONE Retreats (Rose Hill Apothecary Ltd.), a Jamaican company (herein referred to as ONE). The following terms and conditions “Terms” apply to all retreats, programs, products and services purchased. Please review these terms in detail as by purchasing, you are bound by the terms outlined in this agreement.

Upon booking, any deposits or payments made are non-refundable. However, they are transferable or can be applied as a credit to a future retreat. Either option must occur within 12 months of the cancellation date. After the 12 months, any deposits and payments that were made are thereby non-refundable.

We highly recommend you purchase a separate comprehensive travel insurance policy that includes trip cancellation coverage upon booking your retreat that includes a “Cancel for Any Reason” option to cover your non-refundable trip. Trip cancellation insurance is the only means of receiving reimbursement for flights and other non-refundable expenses should you cancel your trip for any reason, whether voluntarily or as a result of unforeseen circumstances. ONE does not offer any kind of insurance whatsoever.

Deposits are due at the time of booking your retreat and are subject to the terms and conditions of our refund and cancellation policy above.

As a courtesy, we offer payment plans for our retreats and program. Your monthly payments start the following month after booking on the same day you paid your deposit. You may contact us to modify your payment dates or plan.

Once you miss two monthly payments, your booking is subject to cancellation. Once canceled, you will be notified via your email on file and we will also call you. You may reinstate your booking within 14 calendar days of cancellation by paying the full amount past due. If you do not pay by then, your booking is officially canceled and any payments made thus far are non refundable and are subject to the terms and conditions of our refund and cancellation policy above.

Bookings must be paid in full 30 days before the retreat start date. If full payment is not received by that date, ONE reserves the right to cancel the trip.

In the event you cannot make a retreat you booked, you may transfer any deposits or payments made to another retreat anytime up to 12 months at no additional fee. The transfer can be to any retreat that is currently open. You are responsible for any difference in pricing. No refunds will be given if pricing is lower than the original trip however. You may also turn canceled booking into a trip credit that can be applied to a future trip within 12 months from cancellation.

Alternatively, one can transfer their deposit to someone else (friend, family member, etc), within the same time frames mentioned above, with the exception of transferring one’s deposit to pay off the remaining balance of another’s deposit. You must notify us via email about the transfer. There is a one-time transfer administrative fee of $100.

If you book double occupancy for your trip and you do not have a roommate, as a courtesy, we will attempt to pair you with a roommate of the same sex who also needs to share a room. However, if 60 days before your trip, you do not have a roommate, you will be required to pay the single occupancy pricing.

While we make every effort to execute the itineraries provided on our website, itineraries are subject to modification and change due to availability or vendor partner changes. In the unlikely event that there are major changes to the itinerary, clients are notified as soon as possible and an equivalent substitution will be offered.

We highly recommend that all guests attending a ONE retreat protect their trip investment by purchasing a Travel Insurance policy that includes:

  1. Basic or comprehensive trip cancellation coverage
  2. Emergency medical coverage
  3. Emergency medical evacuation
  4. Repatriation of your remains should you perish

It is required that you email us proof of your travel insurance policy document from your insurance provider 30 days before the trip departure date.
