This retreat was life changing. I've segmented this review into three sections: The Team, The Place, and The Medicine.

The Team: Vee, Kevin, Sita, Abi, and Ari are an amazing and supportive team - they eased any concerns I had and were patient with my anxieties around plant medicine. The groups are kept small which meant there was always someone available for support if I needed it. This ratio contributed to deeper connections with the team facilitators as well as among the group participants.

The Place: The retreat is beautiful with both ocean and forest views. I felt connected to the surrounding nature which proved to be an important part of my own healing process. I loved that the yoga and breathwork sessions were held outside and next to the ocean. There is a calmness in the environment that is particularly soothing, especially if you come from a big city like I do.

The Medicine: Plant medicine has awakened me to a new way of living, with significantly reduced depression and anxiety, and on a higher vibration. I wish this had been available to me decades ago. I learned that plant medicine is deserving of our upmost respect and humility – it will guide you to answers but it is also hard work with beautiful rewards.

One difference between One Retreats and the other plant medicine retreats I researched; Indigenous practices pertaining to plant medicine are baked into the entire experience, and I left with a newfound respect for non-traditional approaches to mental health and for the plant itself. Other retreats seemed sanitized and disconnected from the indigenous roots of plant medicine. I understand that I am still a tourist but somehow at One Retreats I did not feel that way.

I am truly grateful to One Retreats and the wonderful connections I made there. I am looking forward to my next visit – I don’t think one experience there was enough.

After experiencing many retreats this one is over and above by a thousand what I expected and was used to.

Surrounded by plenty of humming birds, rainforest and the Caribbean Sea you can find yourself enjoying the traditional Jamaican food, a cozy accomodation, beautiful and detail-loving buildings,
personal consulting and a perfectly coordinated team of loving, competent and comprehensive characters.

The cleaning and kitchen staff makes you feel home and is supportive in any way you can imagine.

Everyone here lives to make your journey for you as comfortable and as memorable as possible. A place to ground yourself, while a smile, a hug or a coconut wait around every corner for you.

I did a lot of research before choosing where to do my retreat. As soon as I spoke with Vee and Kevin at ONE Retreats, I knew I had found the right place. I was nervous, and their warmth and kindness immediately put me at ease. I felt supported and cared for even before the retreat began. Once arriving, everything was seamless. They have created a life changing experience that I will be forever grateful for—too profound to put into words. The entire team is extraordinary.

I went to One Retreats as a second-time plant medicine explorer facing a difficult situation in life and seeking the help of Kevin and his team to clear my head and refocus my energy/attention. And that is exactly what I accomplished through One Retrets. I have nothing but gratitude to Kevin, Vee, Carla and the whole team at One Retreats. My experience was beyond what my best expectations and I have the facilitators to thank for that. Thank you guys!! It’s been two months since my journey with One Reteats and I still have the same level of motivation and drive that I left with. Furthermore, I’ve been able to move aspects of my personal and professional life forward that were stagnant prior to the trip. If you're looking for a relaxing and meaningful journey. This is the place.  The staff, food, location, and setting were great.  I'm missing all of the people I met there and of course the wonderfully secluded location and private pool/beach.
The staff and integration in and out of the journey's were phenomenal.  I went there to do some work and really got more out of it, (& am still) than I would have ever expected.
It was deeply moving to share the adventure with experienced users  to first time users of alternative plant medicine. As well as seeing how everyone, including myself walked away from the experience happy, full of new found insight, & methods to manage and cope with problems I had been avoiding.
